BvD DPO Spring Congress 2021

The BvD DPO Spring Congress is one of the most well-established data protection congresses in the German-speaking world. Renowned speakers from politics, business and law meet privacy professionals from all over Germany and make the congress a meeting place for the community year after year – both for professional exchange on current topics and for maintaining and expanding personal networks.

In 2021, the BvD DPO Spring Congress will be held under the motto “Next Level Data Protection – The Privacy Officer as a Pilot in Digitalization” and will take place as an online conference on May 19 & 20, 2021. In addition to the extensive conference program, in which participants can also actively participate by asking questions, there will be a Networking Lounge with video chat and live text chat as well as Event Partner Lounge with additional practice-oriented expert presentations. On May 21, 2021, the BvD DPO Spring Congress will be followed by a Public Authorities Day, which will be devoted specifically to issues facing data protection officers at public bodies. Here, representatives from public authorities and municipalities will provide information on current topics relating to data protection and digitization in administration and offices.

 

For the first time, the congress program will also include an EFDPO panel discussion (in German). Join EFDPO speakers from Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic and France discussing national differences and similarities regarding the implementation of the GDPR.
