SPEAKERS
Ole Martin Moe is a Norwegian attorney (advokat) specialising in data protection and technology law.
He is a former senior legal advisor at Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority), where he participated in the regulatory sandbox on artificial intelligence. He holds dual Master of Laws degrees, one from the University of Oslo and an LL.M in ICT law from the Norwegian Research Center for Computers and Law (NRCCL).
Ole Martin advises clients across the private and public sector, NGOs, and the sports and entertainment industry on data protection, AI, employment law, IT procurement, and whistleblowing. His related practice areas include contract law, marketing law, e-commerce, and telecommunications. He has litigated the GDPR in Norwegian courts, represented clients before Datatilsynet and Personvernnemnda (the Privacy Appeals Board), and serves as DPO for several businesses. He is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association’s ICT and Data Protection Law Committee, a deputy board member of the Norwegian Association of Data Protection Officers (Personvernombudene).
Lothar Determann practices and teaches international data privacy, technology, commercial and intellectual property law.
At Baker McKenzie in San Francisco and Palo Alto, he has been counseling companies since 1998 on data privacy law compliance and taking products and business models international. Prof. Dr. Determann has been a member of the Association of German Public Law Professors since 1999 and teaches Data Privacy Law, Computer Law, AI Regulation and E-commerce Law at Freie Universität Berlin (since 1994), University of California, Berkeley School of Law (since 2004) and UC Law SF (since 2010), Stanford Law School (2011) and University of San Francisco School of Law (2000-2005). He has authored more than 175 articles and treatise contributions, including Healthy Data Protection (http://ssrn.com/abstract=3357990), Electronic Form over Substance

Dr. h.c. Marit Hansen has been the State Data Protection Commissioner of Land Schleswig-Holstein and Chief of Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz (ULD) since 2015. Before being appointed Data Protection Commissioner, she had been Deputy Commissioner for seven years. After graduating with a diploma degree in computer science in 1995, Marit has been working on privacy and security aspects. Her focus is on “data protection by design” and “data protection by default” from both the technical and the legal perspectives. She often gives talks and has been lecturing at various universities and academies.
Marit is member of ENISA’s Ad-Hoc Working Group on Data Protection Engineering. Her contribution to education and research on privacy-enhancing technologies has awarded her an honorary doctorate from Karlstad University, Sweden.
Michael Ørnø
Experienced IT executive with more than 30 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure and digital service delivery across both private companies and the public sector. Since 2012 Di-rector of the Danish Agency for Governmental IT Services (Statens It), responsible for the opera-tion and development of shared government IT services.

Pierre-Yves Lastic has nearly 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in several management functions including Data Management, Statistics, Clinical Trials Management, Electronic Regulatory Submissions, Information Management and 17 years in Privacy and Personal Data Protection.
From 2005 on he was Sanofi R&D Privacy Officer and in 2013 he became Sanofi’s first Chief Privacy Officer and built-up Sanofi’s Global Privacy Office. Beside his function within Sanofi, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) from 2004 to 2016, and Chairman of the Board in 2014-2015. As a data standards and privacy expert, was a member of the EudraVigilance Expert Working Group as well as the Telematics Implementation Group of the European Medicines Agency (EMA). From 2005 to 2019 Dr Lastic was also a member of the Board of Directors of the International Pharmaceutical & Medical devices Privacy Consortium (IPMPC).
Dr. Lastic studied Biology, Languages and Computer Sciences in France and Germany, and holds a PhD in Biology from Bayreuth University.
Victoria Derumier is a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) and serves as Entity Director at MyData-TRUST. With a solid background in European policy and regulatory affairs, she brings extensive expertise in data protection and governance. Her experience within EU institutions and her sharp understanding of compliance challenges across jurisdictions enable her to effectively guide strategic decisions and ensure alignment with evolving regulatory requirements. Victoria’s leadership and policy expertise make her a key figure in supporting global health data initiatives and fostering a culture of data protection by design.
