Greek DPA issues Teleworking Guidelines

The Hellenic Data Protection Authority, taking into account the intensity and the extent of teleworking as a result of the pandemic caused by Covid-19 and the risks  that the use of information and communication technologies entail for the rights of the persons as well as for the security of the infrastructure and services used, with its Decision 32/2021,issued  Guidelines on the processing of personal data in the course of teleworking, regardless of form and type of employment, both in the private and the public sector, in order to specify on the one hand the risks, the rules, the guarantees and the rights of data subjects, and on the other hand the obligations of public authorities and private bodies, as controllers, in compliance with the institutional framework for the protection of personal data.
