Aug 27, 2020

Mr. Jiří Kaucký has become the new Chairman of The Office for Personal Data Protection. In the Czech Republic, the chairman of the supervisory authority is elected by the upper chamber of parliament (Senate). Mr. Kaucký was elected on Thursday, August 20, as the new Chairman, succeeding Mrs. Ivana Janů, who decided not to run again for this position after five years of highly appreciated service in this post.

We would like to congratulate Mr. Kaucký upon his election to the Chairmanship of the Office.
