New Standard Contractual Clauses for the Transfer of Personal Data Outside the EEA

On June 4, 2021, the European Commission adopted and published standard contractual clauses (SCC) that are intended to make international data transfers more legally secure. For this purpose, the new requirements of the GDPR as well as the requirements from the Schrems II were included.
The standard contractual clauses for use between controllers and processors and for international data transfers can be found on the website of the EU Commission.
