The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is a cross-financial sector European regulation that bundles and harmonises the provisions of existing sectoral European regulations and directives.
EFDPO, together with the Czech Association for Personal Data Protection and IAPP, co-organised the online conference “Call for GDPR update?”, which took place on 11.3.2024.
This paper highlights how, from the perspective of data protection practitioners, the business sector –
particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – can be better supported in meeting data
protection requirements within the context of increasing digitization.

The Czech Data Protection Association co-organised at the turn of 2022/2023 two workshops that addressed issues related to improving the regulatory environment in the Czech Republic.
