The Czech Data Protection Association organized on 14 January 2022 – in cooperation with the Czech Union of In-House Lawyers – an online workshop on topic of personal data processing in the context of the whistleblowing. The workshop follows the introduction of the whistleblowing systems according to EU Directive 2019/1937 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law. Although the Czech implementing law has not yet been approved, the directive is already partially applied. The workshop was attended by more than 30 experts in the area of WB. The Office for Personal Data Protection was represented by JUDr. Soňa Matochová and the Ministry of Justice by JUDr. Jiří Kapras.
