A new commentary on GDPR was published in the Czech Republic by C.H.Beck Publishing house. Most of the authors of the commentary are members of the Czech Data Protection Association. The leading authors are JUDr. Vladan Rámiš, Ph.D. and JUDr. Miroslav Uřičař.
EFDPO, together with the Czech Association for Personal Data Protection and IAPP, co-organised the online conference “Call for GDPR update?”, which took place on 11.3.2024.
This paper highlights how, from the perspective of data protection practitioners, the business sector –
particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – can be better supported in meeting data
protection requirements within the context of increasing digitization.
