Data Protection Association in Liechtenstein (dsv.li)
Liechtenstein
About
Under the name of dsv.li – Data Protection Association in Liechtenstein, an association was founded in April 2019, which aims to achieve the goals stated in the statutes. The primary goal is the creation of an active network for data protection officers and with the topic of entrusted persons in Liechtenstein. In addition to personal meetings, this is to be achieved by preparing and elaborating professional instructions and recommendations.
The association would like to discuss general, but also sector-specific questions objectively and find solutions. The idea to found the association arose because since the introduction of the GDPR a great many questions have arisen which have led to uncertainty in the handling of personal data. Some of these questions are still unresolved today.
It is certainly very useful that the association also works with partner organisations, especially in Germany and Austria.
