Annual publication on the 5th anniversary of the GDPR

Jun 9, 2023

On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the GDPR, the Czech Data Protection Association published an electronic publication summarizing both 5 years of our life with the GDPR and the activities of the Association.

We are very pleased that the introductory contributions to the publication were made by Mr. Jiří Kaucký, Chairman of the Czech Data Protection Authority and Mr. Thomas Spaeing, President of the European Federation of Data Protection Officers.

The objectives of the anniversary publication are both to mark the fifth anniversary of the entry into force of the GDPR, to assess how this legislation has influenced practice in the Czech Republic, and to present to the general public the activities of the Czech Data Protection Association, as the largest Czech non-profit organisation focusing on issues related to the processing of personal data, bringing together Data Protection Officers and other experts in the field of personal data protection.

Find here the publication in Czech language.
