This year, the Czech Association for Personal Data Protection organised the second “DPO of the Year” award. Voting took place in the following categories:
- the best DPO in the private sector in the Czech Republic,
- the best DPO in the public sector in the Czech Republic,
- the best DPO in Slovakia (in cooperation with Slovak Association for Personal Data Protection).
In the Czech Republic, Mr. Jindřich Kalíšek, DPO of the KKCG group, was awarded data protection officer of the Year 2019 in the private sector, and Mrs. Jitka Pišl Drábková, DPO of Czech Post, was awarded data protection officer of the Year 2019 in the public sector.
Patron of this year’s award was Ing. Marek Rojíček, Ph.D., Chairman of the Czech Statistical Office.
