GDPR Conference 2020 in Prague

On October 6th 2020, the Czech Data Protection Association held its traditional conference on personal data protection, this year under the name “GDPR2020”. A number of experts from both the Czech Republic and abroad spoke at the conference, including Mr. Jiří Kaucký, Chairman of the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Mr. Josef Prokeš, Vice-Chairman of this Office, Mrs. Kirsten Bock from ULD Schleswig-Holstein, Mrs. Cornelia Kutterer, Senior Director, Rule of Law & Responsible Tech, EGA, Microsoft, Mr. Radim Polčák, Vice-Rector of Masaryk University in Brno, Mrs. Lucia Semančínová from the Slovak Association for Personal Data Protection and Mr. Markus Kastelitz from Verein österreichischer Datenschutzbeauftragter, Austria.

Due to the Covid situation, the conference was held – for the first time – online, and was attended by more than 140 participants from both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
