On 23 May 2024, the Czech Data Protection Association has for the sixth time awarded best Data Protection Officers in the Czech Republic for 2023.
Privacy Day: EFDPO Stresses Importance of DPOs for Successful Digitalization
European Data Protection Day is a day of action initiated by the Council of Europe and has been celebrated annually since 2007 around January 28 – the date on which the European Data Protection Convention was signed in 1981.
DPO of the Year in the Czech Republic
For the fifth time, the Czech Data Protection Assiciation has chosen the best Data Protection Officers appointed under the GDPR. This time, it selected the best and most active of them for the year 2022. The awards were presented at a ceremony held on 25 May 2023 in Prague.
Free online event: DPO Open Talks
One of the objectives of the EFDPO is to promote knowledge transfer across national borders. This is achieved, among other things, by offering online discussion panels which members of EFDPO member associations can attend free of charge.
